Cedar Fair maintains quarterly distribution

Cedar Fair Entertainment Company today announced the declaration of a regular quarterly cash distribution of 47.5 cents per limited-partner unit, consistent with the company’s annualized distribution rate of $1.90 per unit that was announced in March.

Hooray for free money! At today's closing price, that makes it about an 8% return, which isn't horrible.

As long as the price doesn't keep going down if you reinvest the dividend in more shares.
Wow, I just looked at FUN's chart for the first time in a while and even with the dividend, you are still down a hefty percentage on the year. I said I was worried for the stock price when they announced they were looking for a buyer and then all the articles came out about how no one would be interested. Their market cap is down to 1.3 billion which is barely more than what they payed for the Paramount parks. Maybe at these levels, they could find a buyer. Although the private equity market has cooled significantly.

Cedar Point has been having some great weekends lately attendance wise, so hopefully things will turn around.
