Cedar Fair maintains annual distribution

Cedar Fair Entertainment Company today announced the declaration of a regular quarterly cash distribution of 47 cents per limited-partner unit, continuing the company’s annualized distribution rate of $1.88 per unit.

This is the first I've noticed CF talking about "regions" when referring to their parks. What do you think the significance of that is? Will there be some kind of regional management?

There has already been some regional reorganization, but I think what they're getting at is that they're all over, and by all over they mean the company is not hostage to weather or the economy in any one area.

Notice they also call themselves "Cedar Fair Entertainment Company." I knew they wanted to drop the "L.P.," but wasn't aware that's the name they were going for.

Going for a HFEC feel with that name, huh? I like it... :)

Food's got a LONG way to go to reach *that* level, though.... ;)
