Cedar Fair Entertainment Company today announced an increase in its regular quarterly cash distribution to $0.48 per limited partner unit. On an annualized basis, the Company’s distribution rate will increase from $1.90 (paid over the past four quarters) to $1.92 per unit.

I've gotta admit, I didn't expect to see an increase this year. Is this a "we're confident" move, or a bona fide indicator of the company's health?
It's probably a "two cents will get us some positive press for the first time in months" move.
They have to announce it, regardless of if it gets press. Two cents is still more than 1%, and two cents time 54 million shares is a lot of pennies.
$1.08 million, provided my calculator isn't lying. I'm just saying I'm sure CF is happy to get some positive press for once. Hasn't all been uplifting lately.
