Cedar Fair creates corporate VP general counsel position

Cedar Fair today announced the hiring of Duffield Milkie to the newly created position of Corporate Vice President-General Counsel. Milkie, 42, joins Cedar Fair after serving as a partner in the law firm of Wickens, Herzer, Panza, Cook & Batista, Sandusky, Ohio, for the past 10 years.

Is a guy who spent ten years in a Sandusky firm the best choice for a billion dollar international company?

I guess to me it depends on the clientele the firm served. The depth and breadth of his experience may have less to do with where his firm was based and more to do with the demographics of those he represented.
