The MA previous owner sold the prk under the condition that CF would finish the steel coaster under development already. I hope it's a looping hyper. Haven't seen one of those for a while.
A couple things as a MIA insider...The new coaster for Michigan's Adventure will be an inverted, 160 ft. tall coaster. It is planned to be open for the 2002 season, although there is no evidence whatsoever of its construction, and MIA is known for very slow construction. They have these electric cars that were supposed to be done last summer and still havent opened! Also, conversing with the high staff in the park Cedar Fair will take good care of it and has no plans to do any of the following rumors I have heard: 1) they are going to run it for a year then close it down and build a casino 2) charge for rides individually or 3) change the name. The overall attitude around here for this transaction is positive in knowing that Cedar Fair will do a great job. See ya round the park!
