Isn't that what they're doing? Camp Snoopy, Lighthouse Point, Woodstock Express. In fact, the last "big" coaster was Mantis in '96. That's five years between building a record breaker.

Well, here goes...
July 2: Open 22.50 High 22.75 Low 22.5 Close 22.68
July 3: Open 22.52 High 22.73 Low 22.5 Close 22.73

Also take into account that July 2nd was the x-date for the Q2 return of capital, so the price was adjusted at the open by 39 cents.

who said that knotts has been etting a lot of attractions? cuz they havent, ever since they were purchased by cedar fair three years ago they have added two things an S&S tower (just like every other park) and perilous plunge. Compare that to dorney park that has received a world class hyper and and a world class inverted, all these while being the lowesdt attendance of all the parks. Knotts is the only year round, and has thelargest market......
Nosk8er.....I believe that Dorney Park is the 3rd most visited park in the CF chain, only being beaten by Cedar Point and Knotts. I am also quite certain that Dorney has the largest market in the chain as it is less than 90 mins from NYC and Philadelphia. The reason Dorney has received those signature rides is because of the possibility for high attendance. CF isn't going to build the worlds tallest coaster at Worlds of Fun because Kansas City isn't really that big of a market ;-) (just used that as an example of how market areas affect rides constructed).

I am a foods supervisor at Dorney Park. This is my 5th season at the park, and I work at Typhoon Treats which is located in Wildwater Kingdom on your way to the wavepool :)
