Cedar Fair Announcement TODAY! (maybe CP news too)

I think this will be a great time just when the Christmas shoping season is just around the corner. Will we hear of what we finally been waiting to hear about Cedar Point or will there just be a teaser. Will the rumors be put to the end and we all find out what the next big thing will be? Well today is the day to find out and i sure will be listening! For More info read below!!!

Cedar Fairs third quarter 2001 earnings release will be Thursday, November 8, 2001 and a conference call will follow on Friday, November 9, 2001 at 11 a.m. Eastern Time. The conference call with analysts will be webcast live in a "listen-only" mode through PRNewswire.

That sounds promising as far as an announcement goes.
That is a lot better than the random rumors going around. I figure that Mr. Kinzel would want his investors to know about a new ride, and that sounds like a good time to tell them.
If this is true, would all Cedar Fair announcements happen tommorow??

I wouldn't get your hopes up.  I think its safe to say that a bunch of financial analysts is not the audience CP is looking for when announcing their new coaster.  At best there might be a hint or two dropped by Mr. Kinzel, but not an announcement.

Announcement will be after or during IAAPA as Jeff has said.  When it comes to CP Jeff's word is good as gold, no reason to doubt him now.

Does CCI know how to make a bad coaster?

Cedar Point might wait to announce it but if Valleyfair is only getting "park improvements" again this year, and if WoF, Dorney, MA, and KBF already know what their doing why not?
