Cedar Fair

I think a BGW KD Caro trip will be good for you. Carowinds and BGW are both getting new coasters, and KD is a great park that already has a 300 footer.

The only way I'd extend the trip is if u could take a day and drive the 3 hours or so to SFoG.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

You don't just quickly swing by SFoT everytime you visit Dorney?

Pfft.

I always make sure to stop by Knott's Berry Farm every time I visit Kings Island. Like, it's practically right there, coming from Michigan! ;)

I think i will avoid PA on this planning...

And this one's for you Bunky:

You've got the right idea Ben. I used to over plan, overbook, not account for delays (flights, weather, traffic, etc.) and I was always rushed as a result. I've always included other activities to slow the pace and get a short rest, if needed. Baseball Games, Concerts, Zoo's, Aquariums, Museums, etc are never out of the question when I plan an amusement park trip. Not taking the time to slow down and enjoy the trip was my biggest mistake when planning longer trips, in my younger days. I hope you never make that same mistake.

Ben - We have had platinum passes for the past 3 years and have done most of the eastern Cedar Fair parks (except Dorney). We made a trip to Canada's Wonderland this past August and I would highly recommend it. Lots of great coasters and a very nice, large park. Plus I believe they are expanding their water park this year.
