Cedar Fair 3Q revenue up, despite missed attendance goals

Cedar Fair yesterday announced a 7% increase in 2001 third-quarter revenues and a 4% increase in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, and non-cash and non-recurring items (adjusted EBITDA). The chain overall did not meet its attendance expectations for the year.

Read the official press release from Cedar Fair.

This only means that the attendance that showed up, spent allot of money.  Remember, 40% of CP's revenues are from food and retail.
Actually, per capita spending was flat according to the annuncement I believe.  I think the increses are due to the additional profits from their new properties, such as Michigan's Adventure.
