Wow, that Cornball Express video sure was encoded well. ;)

I had heard from a little bird a couple days ago that CCI was "working on it"...can't believe their new-look website is here so soon!  Looks like a return trip to IN is in the works, but will definitely include IB this time...

Gator - I don't think you'll be dissapointed.  Indiana Beach is a blast.  Heck, I live 45 minutes from SFGAm, but I went to IB (about a two hour drive) twice as many times this summer.

Jeff,

I agree! It looks great! What compression is that?

-Sean (who thinks the POV looks great as well. =:^0)

Although it doesn't look as sharp as the Cornball video, it's really cool to see the footage of Medusa.

Nice Site, very nice pictures and  descriptions.  Are they just building 1 coaster for next season ?

I see the site is hosted by POP World Media. Did u design there site or is your comapany just hosting it?

I just host... one of their engineers maintains the site.

Sean: That's 2-pass Sorenson 3 compression (Cleaner 5 and Sorenson Developer). And yeah, I guess the source material is OK. ;)

I agree, it's a wonderful & informative site.  I love the pictures and I hope that soon there will be more POV's of their coasters.

Dennis- Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain is the only project they've announced so far this year.  If I remember correctly, it wasn't until late winter that they announced Cheetah for 2001.  I'm crossing my fingers and praying to see Waldameer's Ravine Flyer II up there pretty soon...

craver - Is there any recent news in Erie about the status of the Ravine Flyer II project?

I must say I'm not really thrilled with the new layout. It's much harder to navigate.

There is alot of blank space on this new layout.. and I agree, it is much harder to navigate.

By the way, with all of this encoding talk, I still think that a site should feature DivX Coaster Movies. Extremely good quality, small file size and exellent for motion.

One of the engineers does the site. I like the look -- more print-based and a touch less cheesy than before. It also avoids the flash-trap that GCI and Arrow seem to have fallen into.

A tiny percentage of people have Divx installed. It doesn't make sense to throw another codec in to the world when there are three major platforms that work just fine. It will wither and die.

Much harder to navigate? It has the exact same navigation as the last site! Five links across the top!

I don't find the new site difficult to navigate at all, and the video is great.

My page
Jeff I was referring to the method of viewing the rides. Rather than have a nice easy to use page with logos, they now have a tedious drop down...

You mean a page like this?

If you click "rides" on the bottom of the CCI page you can find the page Jeff posted.
Yea, but those links don't really stand out well. They really need to a different color than the logo, or set off somehow. It's not THAT apparent that they are links.
