CCI to make a big announcement soon...?

Check out the current news at CCI's site here.

I wonder what this "big announcement" is going to be? Any clues?

Something too do with the Lost Coaster from the looks of it.

Does CCI know how to make a bad coaster?

Maybe CCI and IB will collaborate on a 4th wood coaster?

Beer, My Baby, and Coasters, AND FREEDOM!! Is this a great country or what? ;)
It does say "In other news"... so maybe it doesn't have anything to do with IB at all. Of course, either way it has to be good, because it is CCI!

I still have no signature.

I was TRYING to keep it a secret, but this IS the "Lost Coaster of the Florida Sinkhole", coming soon to GatorLanding!  Like TrBiggar said in a diferrent way, ANY news from this company is good news...

I had heard hearsay that they had a coaster going in in New Mexico.   What is that parks name?

Chuck, who will have to make a southwest tour sooner than expected :)

Whatever happened to that CCI going to Cliff's Amusement Park in New Mexico?  Any info on that?

I think that's what CCI's big announcement is. The New Mexico coaster.

Cedar Point fans and Magic Mountain fans unite. Let's sign a rollercoaster treaty.
Maybe they are announcing the new coaster at Bell's in Oklahoma.
Well I t find it odd they put it with indiana beach news even if they did put in other news.

I think it would make more sense to have a little footnote or something off to the side.

I would say that if it is about indiana beach than it has something to do with superstious mountain or another one of Indiana beachs attractions.

Time will tell hopefully unless it is like one of those gci website were it said that there is supposed to be a big announcement soon but nothing came out of that

I found it odd that CCI put that teaser on the page with Superstition Mtn, unless of course it does have to do with Indiana Beach.

As far as I know, there were two other CCI woodies that were supposed to make a debut in 2002 (although nothing has been said of either one recently)- Bell's and Cliff's.  Perhaps the big annoucement could concern one of those parks?

I believe it will be the kiddie coaster i over heard them talking about while i was at the iaapa convention. They have been working on a childs size coaster layout, train, track, and all the rest.

...just a thought, wasn't CornBall touted as a "family coaster".  Seems to me CCI could make a "kiddie coaster" that would ROCK!   But then again, I love Beastie!
CCI already has some "Kiddie Coasters:" Sky Princess, Zach's Zoomer, and Pegasus.

Wasn't it GCI that is working on a Kiddie Coaster ?:  http://www.cmgmodels.com/36%20footer/36%20footer.htm

Heh...could it possibly be Waldameer's/CCI's announcement for Ravine Flyer 2?  I mean that would be a big deal.  We're talking about a rollercoaster 10 years in the making here.
They have dropped the "family coaster" idea from the Cornball after they found out that it is wilder than the Hurricane. I think you have to be 44" tall to ride the Cornball which is pretty cool, but you need only be 36" tall to ride the Beastie. I love the Beastie also. I have heard that Tom Spackman Jr. wanted the littler kids to be able to ride Superstition Mountain so I think you may only need to be 36" to ride. So I can't imagine CCI putting up a kiddie coaster at IB this year, but you never know. I'll bet they could slap one together pretty quick.
I think I know what it is muchaha.

Pegasus is awesome most surprising coaster I have ever rode but the laterasls are quite vicious I don't think i wiould call it a kiddy coaster

Pardon me, you must be at least 44" tall to ride the Beastie without an adult. Thanks for the correction.
