CBuzzCon: cheap hotel potential

I just grabbed a room at the Candlewood Suites Waukegan via priceline for two nights starting May 21 for $32/night, which after taxes and fees amounts to just under $80 total. It's a bit farther from the park than the Gurnee hotels, but less than 5 miles/10 minutes by AAA's estimate, and the price is hard to argue.

Note that if you bid for this room, you're only going to get one QN bed, so you'd better like anyone you're travelling with a whole bunch.

It's an easy drive from that hotel to SFGAm. Just take Waukegan Rd.(the street the hotel is off of), north which merges into Rte 41. Get off at Grand Ave and go west. You will run into the park entrance.

I also have a room their, But I booked my room 3 weeks ago at $39.00 a night through HotWire. I guess I should have waited.......

Good deal, I will be at the Residence Inn by Marriott and got my room for 35 bucks without taxes.
