Cbuzz Games Down - CoasterBuzz

I noticed that the site was down and I was just curious if it had to do with the contest.

I hope its down to fix a problem I was having. For the past 4 days i've been trying to upload a park and it would never lead up the congradulations page. It would keep loading and loading and never go...Very frustrating..

Not to mention moving it takes a very long time. There are 600 MB+ of files on that site, not counting the database. That's a lot of data to move.

Probably. There's a lot of room to clean things up in there. I really never expected the site to take off, which is why it's so slow. I banged out that site in a day or two. Just keep in mind it is not a huge priority. If I get it ready by Monday, great, if not, it'll get done when it gets done.

I really don't think its a good thing for a webmaster to say, "It'll get done when it gets done." If you are a webmaster, you should want to get it done quickly as possible for everyone who visits your site. Just my opinion, but sounds logical to me.

CB Games took me about two days to write. It's a mess of half-assed code that I did as kind of a side project because the official RCT2 site was too popular and full of junk.

What I didn't anticipate is that it would get popular. The popularity in turn slowed down the main CB site (and GTTP, which has been on the same server). I've looked at the code and I have a plan of attack to clean it up, but right now I have other fish to fry.

Relax and enjoy the nice weather, eh?

I'm not saying that I want the Games section back quick, as I never upload. However, it just didnt seem like a thing for a webmaster to say, even if you were thinking it. However, you do say many things other webmaster don't and shouldn't say.

(And what does how much I pay for my internet service matter anyway? It gives me what I want, so who gives a s***?)
