Casino Pier granted permission to rebuild, property swap deal pending

Owners of an historic amusement park on the New Jersey shore badly damaged by Superstorm Sandy in 2012 have been given a permit to rebuild, state authorities said on Monday. Seaside Heights will also swap land to the owners for the century-old carousel.

After all the pointless arguing about whether it was Jet Star or Star Jet that went into the ocean during the storm....and there's no reason to open that up again....along comes this article mentioning the "Skyride" roller coaster that landed in the Atlantic.
