Are there other Mack mice that have those kind of supports (the columns)? To this point I guess I've only seen the "scafold" look from them.

Ya, Techinc Coaster at Legoland California uses them as seen here: http://www.twistedrails.com/legoland/tt-05.shtml  This is the first time I have seen them on a standard Mack mouse design though.  IMO they look better than the scafold look.  I really like the Ricochet colors, its looking good.

And here are those pillar style supports on the standard wild mouse layout:  http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery966.htm?Picture=2

Interesting note about the supports. They look very interesting. Any ideas if that helps to keep the strain down or what?

From my memory and a glance at RCDB, Hersheypark's mouse is a standard Mack mouse. This is supposed to be exactly the same as the Ricochet at Carowinds, but the supports are different, am I right? http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery539.htm?Picture=1

Jeff, what do you mean by "scafold?" Are Hersheypark's Wild Mouse's supports "scafold?" If so, I get what you're talking about.

And much thanks are directed to Carowinds PR for their photo submissions!

Anyone got any pics of the PKD version?
Columns are also on these "Wild Mice" by Mack:

Paramount Canada's Wonderland : Fly

Six Flags Holland : Flying Dutchman Gold Mine

Europa Park : Matterhorn-Blitz

Warner Bros. Movie World : Tom and Jerry's Mouse in the House

ooops...sorry...here's where you can see what has arrived for PKD...

Paramount's Kings Dominion

The one at PKD looks like a little on the "kiddish" side....but I know that wild mouse coasters can sometimes be deceiving!

By "scafold" I mean like the one at BGW:

MI Trooper1: Those are old pictures. Nothing of the construction nor the finished product (if it's finished) has been posted up yet. I'll ask the PKD team about it.

Jeff: thanks for clearing the definition of "scafold."
