Carowinds Press Release
Does anyone know when Carowinds will OFFICIALLY announce their 2002 plans on their website and does anybody know if Carowinds is getting any carnival rides along with Ricochet? No, I am not complaining, this is just a simple question ok?

Very shortly; they are expecting it to be done before end of the month! And no, no flat rides for 2002; that is, if you exclude a new simulator film (not replacing 7th Portal, I don't think, but the Smash Factory one).
On the other hand, PGA should announce 2002 plans before Labor Day.

I missed out on 7th Portal at PKI this year, and my girlfriend is a big Stan Lee fan, so I hope we can catch it next year at either PKI or PCar...

The basic premise is some hokey, and I mean hokey tour guide is giving you a guided tour of some kind of plant. He then basically just hauls tail around this plant with many close calls with various objects.
It stinks to high heaven, I really don't know how to put it any other way than that. I'd sock my nose if any of my friends rode it.. it's THAT bad.
If I go back this season (I will, I have 2 free passes), and I drive the hour and a half from Greenville, SC and that's the ONLY thing open, I'll gladly turn around and drive back home. NEVER AGAIN...

Actually, it is not a tour guide but rather an escaped lunatic... I didn't think it was THAT bad. Rather comical actually, especially when he starts running over those cardboard people :P
