Carowinds has put the wind into the faces of its guests – a sky-high, 30-mph wind. That’s the fastest the new WindSeeker ride spins its riders – up to 64 people at a time – round and round, with the WindSeeker’s swings extending to a 45-degree angle. From near the top of the 30-story attraction, riders get a panoramic view of South Carolina and North Carolina, amusement park officials said, and on a clear day you can see about 30 miles.

So....
I assume the "dampers" were installed to prevent the back-and-forth swinging that occurred when the initial testing was going on?
Just trying to turn the thread back to Windseekers... ;)

HaHaHaHa! If we got out on the golf course, it would not be a match. You would drop over by the fifth hole! Now THAT's a sport! This is Coasterbuzz guy, not Walking Golf. That just reminded me, I need to get golfballs before the season starts. Dammit!
You know Tek might not be able to beat your ass on the golf course, but I sure as hell can. I was highly recruited to play golf at U of M, and after college I was ranked in the top 50 of amatuer golfers. I used to walk 36 holes a day on weekends for practice. Just to answer before you ask, I was a heavy torque swinger and blew out me knee twice after college. My golf game has never been the same since, but at a $100 a hole I'm sure I could skin you.
Oh and by the way you could look my name up, but I am not going to give it to a troll like you.
Like Button.

Thanks Jeff. I will never speak of him again.
I find it unusual that Cedar Fair installed these rides over more than one year. Has a park chain ever done something like that before, not in the same year?

B:TR at Six Flags installations spanned 7 or 8 years, (Goliath at SFFT doesn't count, nor does B:TR at SFNO since they were a relocation).

Six Flags is doing the same thing with the Star Flyers in the same years as Cedar Fair.

That may be the case but my dad can beat your dad up!
If my dad needed beating up, it would already have been done.
