Carowinds Opening Day

This Sat. Carowinds is opening and I will be going. I am just wondering if anyone knows how crowded it gets on opening day for most parks. They are holding a music festival which will probably draw some people, but I am hopeing that with it being this early in the season it will not be that bad. Thanks for any help.

I will be attending Carowinds for the first time this weekend as we'll. I making the drive from Cleveland on Friday. I will provide a full trip report on Monday. The weather is calling for 84 in Char NC for Saturday, should be nice.

I second that request. 84 sure would feel nice right about now.

Wish Carowinds wasn't so far away or I'd drive down for some flying scooter action. It's been over three months since my last snap. :)

I'll be there in the morning on Saturday. Heading to Raleigh in the evening to see the Stanley Cup Champion Hurricanes. :)

LOL, I have my 6 1/2 year old daughter using the term "snappage". She has actually dropped the "treeage" term as well, referring to that Strickers Grove phenominon. The funny thing is she has never ridden with me while snapping nor have we ever been to Strickers. My 3 year old son rode with me twice at Knoebels last year where I rediscovered "snappage" for the first time since GL had some Flying Scooters!!
