Hmmm...why would PGA build a water park when Paramount owns Raging Waters which is only a few miles away?

What difference really does it make anyway? A Vekoma flyer is a Vekoma flyer, used or new(X-flight and Batwing just include a helix, where as Stealth does not, right?), just as a Vekoma SLC is a Vekoma SLC, or boomerang. I must admit I am pretty excited that the flyer is coming to Carowinds even if it isnt new. This coaster will be a great new experience for Carolinians, and hopefully be a smart move for PCar anyway.

BTW does anyone actually think PCar has $17,000,000 in their budget for a brand new coaster?

here you go its from PGA website:

"In order to make room for the new water park, Paramount's Great America is removing the Stealth roller coaster. Thrill seekers who haven't ridden Stealth have until Sept. 2 to come to the park and ride it before the ride closes and construction begins on "Boomerang Bay."

-PGA website

Perhaps there was some sort of structural problem with Stealth (in the foundations perhaps?) and Paramount saw an opportunity here. If a million or more bucks worth of repairs are needed on the foundations of the coaster, spend a little more to move it cross-country and start the foundations from scratch, market it as a new ride, and generate new park revenue to cover the expenses, as well as increasing PGA's revenue with a new waterpark. Although I think it sucks that they're moving a coaster after 3 years (essentially saying it was a failure and a terrible ride which I don't agree with) there does seem to be a lot of logical arguments behind it.

You know we wouldn't be complaining so much if it were a B&M that was being relocated cross countrry now would we?

If a B&M were relocated cross country everyone would be saying "oh happy happy joy joy" but since it's a vekoma that's being relocated everyone's like "blech,it's only a crappy vekoma & nothing more I want something else" but at least it's something new for Carowinds, which is in need of a good thrilling coaster iinstead of getting kiddie rides all the time cough Ricochet cough cough.
