Carowinds early pictures

Very cool pix. I've never had the chance to visit Carowinds, nor am I old enough to have visited it in its heyday.

I would say thats in your humble opinion, with little fact behind it. In fact the 64 corridor (coming from one who has lived here since 83) is constantly jamed wtih tourist traffic from Williamsburg to Virginia Beach. It may be off your beaten path, but certainly not millions of others we see per year who drive this corridor.
