Carowind's Coasters - CoasterBuzz

I just realized that with the addition of Ricochet that Carowinds has 11 coasters, they arent far behind Cedar Point or Magic Mountain, maybe in the next couple of years Carowinds will be one of the top ranking parks. Well... at least Im optimistic.

There are al ot of close parks, but mabye.

The only thing that Carowinds needs to "get itself on the map" is a really big and/or unique coaster. I think the park is nice but it desperatley needs a good woodie(CCI) and another large B&M. That would make them a "must go to park" IMO

Are you counting Thunder Road backwards AND Forwards?
I count:
Thunder Road, Top Gun, Scooby Doo, Taxi Jam, Vortex, Carolina Cyclone, Hurler, GoldRusher, FSS, and Richochet(2002). 10. Thunder Road is 1 coaster.

I saw it on the news and didn't take time to count, maybe they count skycoaster or drop zone.

Carowinds is ALREADY a great park. Be happy with what you have. You DONT want people from all over the country coming to your park...it only make for really REALLY long lines (see CP, SFGAdv, PKI...)

Carowinds is a great park, but honestly, I need something else to satisfy my coaster cravings....Top Gun just isn't cutting it for me...
