Carowinds 5/5/02 (Gay Day)

Me and my friend Mary went to Carowinds today. No, we aren't gay but we thought it would be fun to go anyway.

So anyway, we got into the park around lunch time and headed for Ricochet. The line was too long so we headed to Cyclone. This ride is smooth as ever! We hopped a ride on Hurler, and then headed over to Vortex and got a quick ride. Wow! it was actually smooth!

Then we rode Top Gun and Frienzoid (inverter pirate ship). We then went over to 7th portal and got a ride. We passed on Meteor Attack because of the line. We went back and rode Scooby Doo's Haunted Manchion. Now for the highlight of the day.

We went towards the Xtreme Skyflyer and saw that it was only $9.95 for two people! It was Mary's first time and my second on this crazy ride. I still love it! We then got a ride on Drop Zone and a few rides on Screamweaver (He is still there!, sorry guess you had to be there to catch that one).

We played guess you birth-month and both got a stuffed animal. Then we decided to wait for Ricochet and got in a ride with very few brakes. We also decided to play Cyber Says. Another suprise!, just like at the Skyflyer, they were offering 2 for 1 so we both got to play for only 5 bucks. Cyber Says is quite fun, and I know we looked stupid but the fun was worth it.

Then we rode Thuder Road about 5 times and left at around 8. This was one of the best visits I've had to Carowinds in a long while.

P.S.

Oh yeah, we went into the arcade near Super Saturator and played one of thos prizes games. After about 3 times Mary kicked it and an alarm went off! No one was in there so we ran like hell to get away from there! Scary at the time, but funny now

I was there this morning from 9:30-11:30. I got 8 rides on Top Gun, 1 on Haunted Mansion, 5 on Hurler, 1 on Cyclone, 1 on TR Backwards, 1 on Drop Zone, and 1 on Super Saturator. Also, the speakers on the DDR were fixed :). Maybe it was just me, but I have NEVER had such rides on Hurler. I've had some great rides on this thing, but this morning it was just wild. The rain yesterday must have done something, because i was thrown into standing position on almost every hill.

I have never been to a park during gay day but I can imagine it would be hilarious. I can just picture a train full of screaming queens on a rollercoaster. Wait a minute, I see that every time I go to an ACE event :)

I was'nt trying to be insensitive or mean. I was just making a joke. I'm sure most of the gay people on here could appreciate it. It's a well known fact that ACE is full of fags. I'm one of em.

I think fag is a pretty disrespectful word...but if you choose to use it, more power to yuh.

The definition of fag IMO is a gay person who is slutty and malicious, other are just gays. So I would consider it offensive to be called that. It's those type of gays that give us a bad name.

I was using the word fag in a playful manner. I was'nt implying that gay people are slutty and malicious. Though there are tons that are. Of course, those "fags" are'nt involved in ACE. ;)

i would hardly say a "fag" is a slutty and malicious homosexual. im my definition, a "fag" is a very very feminine gay person but isnt a dragqueen. it shouldnt be taken to offense anyways, shoot, if someone calls you a fag just go "thats right honey and im damn proud *snaps and snaps head around*". thats alllllllll you gotta do, ive done it many times (though im not a fem)...
