If I am still correct (and I may not be, seeing as I haven't visited another CF park besides Dorney for years), each park varies on the early admission days and what rides are on the ERT list. For instance, Dorney was mostly featuring Talon for early admission, and it was a weird day, like a Tuesday (hee hee...Talon Tuesdays). I definitely remember having a difficult time finding out what rides were open early on what days on the website, but I've been told that I am wrong on CF having difficult to navigate websites now.As usual when someone gets to go to a different park than usual, I will say enjoy your trip, and I envy you!
Yeah. This shall be interesting since my home parks are cedar point, kings island and michigans adventure. I hope to go to each of those three 4 or 5 times each this summer with my cedar fair plattinum pass!

Did he just say Michigan's Adventure? I knew it...
;-)
I go to Michigan adventure since I live in michigan and its a short drive. Shivering timbers is great. Cedar point and kings island are my main two parks though.
lost kause, have you actually been to Michigan Adventure? Its not that bad. I would consider it a "local park" though. Its quite small.
I have not been there, no. I was just comparing your attitude about the park with other people who post here. A lot of people don't have a lot of good to say about MA. It's nice to hear from someone who appreciates it.

And is not a proper way to start a sentence. U should know that. ;)
No, it's merely an informal way to start a sentence. There's nothing improper about it.
Much like U is a short form for you. and we should try to quote less.

Just don't get caught having to park way out at mid-Timbers. I hear that's a bitch.
There is not enough time to explain how many grammatical issues there are in this thread. We should probably just let it all go.

I'm glad your post had none, because THAT would be highly ironic :)

Mike, I read my post about five times before posting it because I didn't want to look like a moron. Hehehe...

No, U is improper.
And you should try to quote less. I can quote as much as I want. ;)
EIEIO.
I said it was a short form, not proper.
I have no problem with quotes, I was sacastically relaying the views of others who do.
At risk of being red flagged, I will decline quoting the source.
On topic... at least the MiA spin off topic. I have never been to MiA. Is there anything in the area to make a good weekend out of it?
MiA is a good one day park. Good waterpark. Chead tickets. Has some good rollercoasters. Shivering timbers is amazing. The lines aren't usually long at all.
I would definitely try to get there early and head directly to Nighthawk. Last time I was there (for a 2 day stay) they were running one train with plenty of single (and even double) empty seats going out. Add to that an already long load time. I've never seen so many people walking the wrong way to get OUT of a queue. All the coasters were a walk-on most of the day (Intimidator was less than 5 minutes), while Nighthawk was about an hour. The next day, same deal.
Perhaps they are getting "trickle down training" from Cedar Point and things are better now. A single rider line would be great (and we kindly suggested that to them on the way out of the park.)
They took Night Hawk's single rider line out a while back. It really didn't 'help'. I don't think it's as much of a training issue as a load/capacity issue with that ride, as all of the rest of the rides at the park do pretty well.
That particular coaster always has a line, even on slow days.
