Carolina attractions say their facilities are safe

Prompted by the aneurysm-induced death at Magic Mountain, a newspaper in South Carolina probes local parks to ask if they're safe.

Read the story from The Sun News.

The Carolina's are very safe! I live here and have never heard or seen of any unsafe procedures or operation. The only time Paramount's Carowinds has had a major problem it was last year when the station brakes failed on Thunder Road and the train coming into the station hit the train that was about to leave the station, but there were no major injuries only minor things like broken arms and legs.

Carowinds, of course, would say, "They're safe!" Do you think parks would say "No, they're not safe!" I didn't think so.

I'd consider getting a broken leg and arm on a coaster very major. If that's not major what is? Only paralysis or death?

Could you describe the ruckus?
I agree that broken arms and legs are major injuries but parks might say they are dangerous to bring in more dare devils but no one else would come:):(
