Carnival Ride at Sandwich IL Fair

Thanks jeremy....helps to have some friends with my back after that beat-down we took....ouch! Hope my beloved Gatas pull it together before the "SECond season" starts...but then again, hoops is the real sport of choice, even talked to Billy Donovan on the local call-in TV show the other day....YEAH!

Chernabog, I know Miracle Strip has one, still nauseous...:). But I do love those old-time, simple flats...the terrain was a BIG clue for me, didn't realize they had become "rare items".

Aren't there only two of them operating at amusement parks right now? Kennywood and Knoebel's?

That'd be my guess. I'm often wrong.

Good guess, but I can think of one other. Oak's Park in Portland, OR has one. At least it did the last time I was there last summer. That was the last one I have ridden and it's located right next to Looping Thunder, unforunately the only looping coaster in the state.

And while I've only been to Kennywood once, the thought came into my mind that the photo came from there. But then again I was just there a few weeks ago and it's the only Roll-O-Plane I've seen this summer, so it was the first to pop into my head. But there can't be many left.

no more "guessing", it *is* Kennywood. Just go to joyrides.com, click on the Kennywood photos and you will see the self-same picture. 'Nuff said!

Two more Roll-O-Plane installations come to mind...

1) Conneaut Lake Park, PA

2) Erieview Park, OH
