i heard a while ago that there were rumors of a Captain Planet: The Ride going to be built somewhere in the us...it would feature 5 shuttle coasters (like Superman: The Escsape @ SFMM) side by side by side by side by side. Each of them would be named adter the five Captain PLanet powers; Earth, Wind, Fire, Heart, and Water....Its a pretty awesome idea! What do you guys think?

The theming sounds dumb, but the ride sounds great! However unless they raced it wouldn't be that great.

Don't use LSM's use a flywheel like Montezooma's Revenge! That seems to be just as smooth and fast, and probably doesn't take up as much electricity.

This idea not only sounds dumb, it also sounds rather expensive, and unattractive.
Imagine this if you will:
Imagine all the clones of all the Boomerangs that were put in America alone. Now imagine all of those Boomerangs in your park right next to one another possibly racing to see who goes back and forth the fastest.
Does that really sound like fun? I think not!
For this so-called idea... it just sounds boring... especially if neither ride varies between one another except a SMALL, and I do mean small... amount of theming.
This is only a rumor and nothing more. It sounds too illogical to happen in reality. (or some park owner was on crack cocaine and just said "sure what the hell... if I build it, they'll come!")

I don't think their is the need for five different tracks, it just seems like a waste of money. However, it would be great if they did build a coaster, or thrillride depending on your interpretation, similar to S:TE. Living on the east coast I have not yet had the chance to ride it, but I would really like to.
