can't even start it up

Has anyone else had problems just starting No Limits?  The program installed fine, but when I click on the icon to start the game, I get two error messages - one says something about an attached driver that didn't extract or something.  Before anyone shouts at me saying that my computer probably doesn't meet the requirements, it does, and multiple versions of the demo have worked absolutely fine for me.  I have no idea what the problem is.  I e-mailed the support staff Saturday, and I've yet to hear any response.

Pardon my *****ing, but if you're selling a product at $25 a pop, you better make sure you get some prompt responses to your customers when the product doesn't even work.  Even if it's just to say, "Yes, we're aware of this problem, we're working on it."

What video card do you have?  Make sure you are using the most up to date drivers for it that you can find.

It would be more helpful if you could provide exactly what th error you are getting is.

Sorry for the delay.

The first error message states: The MSVCP60.DLL file is linked to missing export MSVCRT.DLL:_lc_collate_cp.  This is a typical warning message, with the little yellow icon with the exclamation point.

The next error message states: C:\Program Files\NoLimits Coasters v1\NoLimitsEditor.exe.  A device attached to the system is not functioning.  This is the error message with the X in the red circle.

I have an NVIDIA 3D Graphics Blaster TNT... not sure of the exact specs, but the demo of NoLimits still works fine on my computer (800 MHz, 128Mb ram).  I sent an e-mail to the support staff, and I received a delivery failed message.  What the heck is that?

/BLOCKQUOTE>And today is what...Sunday? Not big on patience are we? Ole isn't a big company so he doesn't have 24/7 support staff. Give him a few days to respond.

Call it off... I got it to work, finally.  I downloaded a driver update for my video card, and everything suddenly worked.  Go figure.

Simulacrum - I'm not impatient.  I e-mailed the support staff on Saturday, November 17th, right after I downloaded the program - not this past Saturday.  The reason I never heard back from them is that their e-mail wasn't working.  I got a delivery-failed notice a few days later.  Again, this is something that they should watch out for...

Thanks for the help, Ride Op.

Ahh sorrry. You didn't specify WHICH Saturday so I made a bad assumption :)
