Canobie Lake 7/8: Poweriding UNTAMED at night

I've never done this to a park before, but this was my THIRD trip to Canobie in less than a month (28 days to be exact) and my second in less than two weeks.

Anyway, initally, when my day started, I wasn't planning to go to the park, but a couple of factors kind of conspired to bring me there.

1. I've had a rain check (good for admission after 5pm) from Untamed opening day sitting in my truck's center console.

2. I was making a trip to have lunch with my grandparents in Atkinson, NH. (a town about 15 minutes away from the park)

3. It was cloudy, so the crowds wouldn't be so bad.

I arrived in the parking lt at about 4:30 and found an empty spot in the front row of parking. Yeah! After head to the gate with my cupon, the attendant said it wouldn't scan until EXACTLY 5pm, but she let me in anyway and would scan it when the time hit. I hope she wasn't chewed out too bad for that little extra guest service!

One of my guilty pleasures is the Dodgems (bumper cars), so I hit that on my way back to Untamed.

Now on to a confession:

I think I might be addicted to UNTAMED. Ever since my first ride on her, I've been hooked. My friends (and even a few of the ride ops!) think I'm crazy. I'm beginning to think that myself.

On the plus side, they've been spotting me in line and welcoming me back by name. Even tossing in an extra ride or two when they can. Cassie and the rest of here ride crew do and exceptioal job of keeping the lines moving fast and the guests happy. If they could, they'd have loved to have seen me hit 100 total rides. As it is, Cassie said she's going to talk to her boss to see if there's something they can do to celebrate.

I've heard of people doing power rides on stuff like Milenium Force and Magum, but who have thunk it would happen to me?

As it is, it was 30 total rides than night. I wish Canobie had a season pass and I had more money for gas becuase I'd be there nearly every waking moment I didn't have to work.

My total is 93 rides and the coaster has been open to the GP less than 30 days.

You decide: Am I nortal for a coaster junkie or should I be sent to the "funny farm?"

Well that first ride in the rain was an amazing one.

I did a full day last week trip report should be on soon. it was a show trip so only 3 Untamed rides.

Still have my after 5, and ACE day, Full day ticket and 2 screeemfest tickets. But I agree a season pass would be fantastic.

My power riding claim to fame is Screechin' Eagle at Americana 64 times. I was 16 as well...

I've ridden Mind Bender in Atlanta upwards of 20 in a sitting, and quite a few on the Anton Shuttle at Kentucky Kingdom.

You are tough, I do not think I could do more than 6 on anything with a shoulder harness. Hmmm... Demon at SFGAmerica and Flashback at Dallas I did 6x... and Batman at Great Adventure 16 times, one time when it was new. I can't do shoulder bars like that anymore. Hats off to you my friend!
