Canobie Confirms StatBlaster (which is complete)

The ride is complete and has been officially anounced on www.Canobie.com . But i have a question about the StarBlaster. Will it have 3 seats on each side like SCREAM at SFNE or have 2 seats on each side...

I don't know but once you get launched you're going to have to slow down because the ride is so short. It's only 100 feet or something. It still will be awesome. I'm going to go sometime this season since it's only 25 minutes away from where I live.

Is it me or is there only one tower? Maybe it is just the view but it seems like that double tower claim is off. It probably is two but i just want to confirm that.

A "Frog Hopper" by any other name.

I don't agree at all Chad...in my (considerable) experience with many S&S rides, the shorter ones often deliver even more airtime by having launch speed sufficient to more than reach the tower's top, giving a pop of air not found on those towers tall enough to "use up" the speed....

After getting a combined turbo-shot and turbo-drop ride from the O2 Tower this week, I can safely say S&S rides are what they claim to be: "Rides People Look Up To". I always get a rush, and this unique ride cycle was pretty cool. Gotta wonder what Canobie's ride routine will be.

The small kiddie tower is called Jungle Jump, Does anyone know how tall frog hoppers are and what do they look like?!

Indiana Beach has one of these towers too. It's called "Double Shot" and it packs a punch like what the Star Blaster is going to have. The only difference is that IB's is 80 feet tall.
