Candover expected to drop sale of Parques Reunidos

Candover is close to canceling its plans to sell or make an offering of Parques Reunidos after a string of disappointing bids from rival private equity firms, The Financial Times reported. Final offers for Parques Reunidos came in on Friday from Apollo Management and a consortium of Advent International and the Carlyle Group, however both fell some where below the 2 billion euro ($2.8 billion) Candover had been hoping for.
