Canadas Wonderland Gold Pass?

I was curious...

Does Canada's Wonderland offer a gold pass? If so, do other Paramount gold passholders get any benefits at that park?

The gold pass perks are supposed to be good only at the park that issues the pass, I know they started scanning the cards for parking and walk-on weekends this season at PKI. In past seasons if the card didn't have the specific parks name you could just show it and get the perks. Although morally wrong it was possible.
The only thing I know they really hold to from park to park is the free admission within the chains 5 parks no matter what park your pass is from. I had mentioned in a earlier thread I was surprised back at PKD in July when my parking didn't transfer from PKI. But was told that wasn't a perk at PKD anyway.

I'm not entirely sure I agree, Buckeye-Beast. I've only had a PP pass the one year, so I can't say for certain, but some stuff, like passholder discounts for food and merchandise, often applies chain-wide regardless of what park you're at or your pass is from....

For instance, passholder Friday at GAdv...I went with my SFMM pass and walked in at 9am with no problem. I can't speak for Paramount in specific, but if the chain is willing to extend passholder benefits to people who hold SPs from other parks in the chain, I have a hard time believing it's "morally wrong" for me to take advantage of it...

At some SF parks, I get passholder discounts on merchandise/food...at others I don't. Same is true for other chains....I think alot of that is decided by the park's GM...or by the attendant at the register, LOL...

I've called a couple times to make sure I could get into events (like SFoG's "passholder appreciation day"), and usually, I'm told that any pass from the chain is accepted. Calling the park is always the best bet if you're unsure....(and DO get the name of the person you spoke to, learned that from Knotts, LOL)...

A good idea since PKI and PKD have gold passes to offer.
Joe and I visited PCW a week ago and we did indeed recieve the Season Pass benefits and discounts, even though our passes are from PKI.

The Current months Season Pass food special at PCW is 2 Burgers, 2 fries, and 2 drinks for $9.99 Canadian. The Portions were big enough that Neither Joe or I finished our fries. Great Deal if you ask me. WHat is that, like $8.00 in US Currency for both of us?

Also, I visited SFStl a month ago and recieved Season Pass Merchandise discounts even though I have a SFKK pass.

Guess who's back? Back Again? James K's back. Tell a friend.

SF often allows discounts/special event admission chain-wide, but most say explicitly that parking passes don't transfer. I'm not sure that the former is official policy, though.

The fine print describing Paramount's passes all say that "precious metal" benefits only apply to that park. Some employees may screw up and give it to you anyway, but they aren't supposed to.

CP is the only Cedar Fair park with a "premium" pass notion, so obviously that doesn't transfer. All of the CF parking passes say that they are good for that park only.

Bottom line: I wouldn't expect to get them, but you might out of sheer (p)luck. Personally, I don't bother asking about my Paramount pass, because I know they aren't supposed to, but that's just me.
