Canada Off ... LA Help needed!

A while back, I asked for help on Toronto, Canada and unfortunately that trip has been put off until February next year ... However an opportunity has risen for a quick two week trip to LA with my twin nieces and my mum, who will flying for the first time ever!
I know LA fairly well but with a mother and twin girls (6-years) in tow, a more leisurely trip is planned. Can anyone help me out an itinerary? SFMM, KBF, USH and DL/DCA are a given, can I get some thoughts regarding Legoland or Seaworld San Diego or any other family-oriented places to visit. We will be staying on-location at DL so all travel will out of Anahiem. All input appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

If you're looking for just coasters, forget USH and Sea World. For kids, Legoland is a real gem, they have coasters too, and it's only about 45 miles from Anaheim! Do Legoland for sure!

I think that Knotts will be a good choice for you. It is extremely close to the Disneyland Resort. Knotts has something for everyone. You know its thrillseeking reputation, but there is still a lot of family oriented attractions. Hope you have fun on your vacation!

Home Park: Knotts Berry Farm!
but also Disneyland and DCA
