Can you see a coaster from your house?

Just a thought, but can anyone see a coaster or ride from their house, appartment, or "dwelling"?

I was thinking, maybe someone in Las Vegas, or on a mountain somewhere.

How much more floorless can they get?

why dont people who can see roller coasters from their homes make sites dedicated to their construction. you could have a picture every single time something happens. imagine all the updates, it would be great!

Not me. Even if I stand on my roof, all I can see is an endless expanse of suburban roofs.

I stayed in a hotel last year from which I could see Shockwave and Great American Eagle... does that count?

Somebody on this board can see Texas Giant from his house... I remember reading that once.

Well, the nearest coaster to me is about an hour's drive (Louisville), but I could see Hurricane and part of Family Kingdom from my motel in Myrtle Beach last week.

All the world is born right-handed. Only the greatest can overcome it.

I used to live right across the street from Lightning Racer at Hersheypark. From my front porch I could see LR, Wildcat, Wild Mouse, Sidewinder, Trailblazer, Great Bear and Roller Soaker construction.

Well if you look really really really hard, when I am home (I'm at college right now), you can see Mamba in the distance, but the conditions have to be just right (such as no fog or low clouds or fat people standing in the way).

I always thought it would have been great to go to Kings High School. You basically have Son of Beast in your back yard and you could watch it from classroom windows, I'm sure.

If my models count, then yes! :) But I gotta climb up our nearby radio tower to see Sea Dragon at Wyandot! LOL.

If I stand on my roof I can see the Dania Beach Hurricane.

That must be great. I wonder what it is like living on 206 in Jackson. You have Nitro in your back yard! Anyone live there?

At some of the schools in the hills of southern California you can see Superman:The Escape, Goliath, Deja Vu, and barely see X. At Expoland they had condos right next to the park.
I dont think you can see Nitro from 206. 206 is a good 20 minutes of hills from Great Adventure. Now if you live on 537 closer to GrAdv, Im sure you can see it with no troublem, but there is no way you cna see it from 206. I have gone that way tons of times and could never see anything until the huge lake on 537.
Oh yeah I mixed my numbers up but you know what im talking about, its a great view.

Vertigo, did you 'live' in Osaka? I can't see Expoland from my in-laws home, but I can see it from my sister-in-laws work...:)

Man, that would be AWESOME to be able to watch a coaster from your school. Of course, I'd fail everything, b/c I'd be drooling all over my work, but hey! It would almost be worth it!
