Can you identify this ride?

I am looking for information on
this ride.

It was called "Yankee Bullet" at Cedar Point but I'm not positive that's the name the manufacturer gave it. I've narrowed the date down to either sometime before 1941 or sometime between 1945 and 1959. If any one knows who made it or if any other park has/had one of these I'd love to find out.

It looks pretty cool. I would like to know too. I love seeing those old rides. I know they had some pretty wild ones at Coney Island. I think I saw a similar looking ride in old park footage, and it may be the grandfather of the paratrooper ride. But, I'm not sure.
