Can you bring a friend to PKI's ACE walkback?

Can you still bring a friend to the ACE walkback at Paramount's Kings Island? I know you can before but I was wondering if you still could? Also is the ACE brick still the meeting place for the walk-back and is the brick still there? If it is not there where do you meet?

The day after opening day they let me bring two friends. They didn't even card anyone either, so I'd say go for it. The worst that could happen is they could say no. I'm pretty sure though that you can still bring a person.

I don't see why not, it's not like they even asked to see our ACE cards when I was there a few weeks ago.

Rollercoasterman,

Yes, you are allowed to bring one non-ACE member friend.

It should be noted that the park still checks cards on occasion and will do it a lot more frequently if it is found out that people are abusing the perk.

Sean - Is that a new policy? Last year I called before a trip with three friends (none of them are ACERs), and was told that they all could participate.

The plaque is now gone (unless it's already been replaced, it was gone at CBCon)....but the walkback is still at the old brick location, just to the right after entering the park...pretty sure I read somewhere it was being moved somewhere nearby....

Thanks to PKI for continuing this tradition, we appreciate it.....

The brick is gone? It was there earlier in the season, even after they added the new Keyhole Photo booth on that side of International Street. You've got me curious now, I might have to go out to PKI to check up on this, and maybe ride a few. :)

I was there last week for the walkback. The brick is not there. You just meet immediately to your right at the entrance. Sort of in front of the Men's restroom that you see when you walk in.

When Pancake and I were there at the start of June the plaque was removed for cleaning and Jeff Siebert said they were placing it in a different spot.

We searched for that plaque for a while until we just gathered with some other ACEers.

Actually the one guest policy has been in effect for quite sometime now. Pehaps you just caught the marketing folks on a good day or something?

We had a bit of trouble a couple or years ago with people doing the walk-back who weren't even in a coaster club (nor a guest of a club member) so they might have limited it to one person then. I am not sure.

And to answer the other question about the plaque...it is indeed gone and should return very soon. I am not sure of the location but all that resides in it's former area is a darker section of asphalt. To the best of my knowledge, the walk-back still takes place at the same area unless changed when the brick comes back.

Jeff Seibert told us on the morning of CBCon that the plaque would be moved just a couple feet over from where it was.

Sean - Thanks for clearing that up. I guess we just got lucky.
