Can V2 add more track?

I have heard rumors that SFMW will be making V2 higher and faster for either this upcoming season or the next. I was wondering, is this possible?
"Oh crap, I'm not riding Raptor anymore because there's one just like it in Japan. Cedar Point sucks now."

I think it is kinda hard to add track to coaster that is already completely built.

Tell that to Kennywood and Morgan... (Actually, I think they'd agree on the "hard" part)

I wouldn't count on an extended V2, though.

"The questions ticket agents ask at airports are useless, but give an illusion of security to the GP. Much like seatbelts on roller coasters...

john peck's avatar Jeeeeez!! The rumors going around are just insane.

In order to make a ride such as V2 higher and faster, not only do you have to add more magnets and control system, you will have to manufacture new spike supports, install more footers , clear more space, spend additional money testing and hiring cnstruction crews, not to mention re-marketing it, and yu still generally have the same ride.
