Can any one help? *** Edited 9/22/2005 2:20:19 PM UTC by timweston99***

Could we see the photo?
Can you tell me how to post it on the forum as cut and paste doesn't seem to work.
You'll have to find somewhere to host it, bud. Then we can help. I'm sure someone will know what it is.
I've managed to put it at the following at the following address.

That is Kong at Six Flags Marine World in Vallejo, CA.

It's Thunderhawk at Geagua Lake. You can tell by the big B&M loop in the background.

I'm pretty sure it's not Kong, because you'd be able to see Medusa's lift hill if you were able to see it's loop (which is in the wrong orientation). Additionally, There looks to be half a cobra roll/sea serpent right next to the loop which is true on Dominator but not on Medusa W. *** Edited 9/22/2005 2:25:21 PM UTC by ApolloAndy***

Andy is right its ThunderHawk!

Thanks,

Heh -- it could be that, too. I took the other coaster to be Medusa, but I suppose it could be Dominator as well.

Yep, no doubt it's Thunderhawk

The colors are totally wrong for it to be Kong *** Edited 9/22/2005 2:27:31 PM UTC by ThemeDesigner***

In my defense, I've been awake for ten minutes :)

Thanks for all your help. It was certainly quicker than the two hours I spent this morning looking a random photos of roller coasters in the hope if stumbling on the right one.
It *could* be Thunderhawk but it might also be Serial Thriller from Six Flags Ohio or possibly even Serial Thriller from Six Flags World's of Adventure. ;)
Well it was Serial Thriller. When CF bought the park, they had to re-name all the six flags trademarked names. It was re-named ThunderHawk, and re-painted to a horrible orange, yellow combination this past winter.

The other thing that identifies the location is Ripcord, which you can see in the background. Definately a picture of what is now Thunderhawk at Geauga Lake.

And the new paint scheme is great. It really brightens up a park that is in need of bright scenery.

Yeah, I like the new colors, Sam. Red and Teal don't go together well to me. I wish that SFI would paint all the rest of their SLCs the same color as either Kong or Mind Eraser at SFA.

I'm glad CF painted Thunderhawk to differentiate it from SF SLCs. Now if they'd just change the color on Steel Venom.

Gotta admit that I like the colors of Thunderhawk at GL.

Haven't seen SFA's Mind Eraser's new colors closeup, but I can say that, for what it is worth, I like the Blue Supports / Red Track of Mind Eraser at SFDL and SFNE (and the pics of the former Mind Eraser at SFWOA) better than the (former) Red Supports and blue track of Mind Eraser at SFA.

(I just read over that, and oh geeze! Did that ever make me sound like a coaster geek!) *** Edited 9/22/2005 8:36:21 PM UTC by SLFAKE***
