Camping near Six Flags Great America

Can anyone recommend a CampGround near SFGA The only one I can find is Fish lake about 10 miles away or there is an Illinois State park on lake Mi. but it sounds like most of the facilities are closed for renovation and I’m not sure I want to stay there.

If you don't get any good recommendations, check out http://www.woodalls.com/. They publish paper campground guides, and their online site might be helpful.

You also might want to try Wisconsin state parks. A couple of them (Big Foot Beach, Richard Bong) are pretty close to SFGAm.
