Campgrounds coming to Michigan's Adventure

The ever-growing Dalton Township could get two large campgrounds in the near future; one built by the owners of Michigan's Adventure Amusement Park and another proposed by a township resident for a site near the park.

allthough the article doesnt go in depth about CF building their own campground, its nice to see that there doing some major improvements to help make the park more of a destination. The only thing thats needed now is to fix the sewer system problems so the septic tanks by St can be removed and a major atraction can be added.
Well my experience with most park camgrounds is they are extremely over priced.

There is a campground right off the highway Exit for MIA that is very affordable and very cozy.

Chuck, who got there about 1am for timbersfest once and they didn't even charge us for the first night

Conflict in the Jourden family? Wonder if Roger offered the land to CF or just stuck it to them. No hyper, No land (LOL).

Now lets give people a reason to really want to stay at the new campgrounds. Michigans adventure is a nice little park, but I myself wont return untill they start adding some attractions to the park. It is a 3 1/2 hour drive for me to get there, but only a 2 1/2 hour drive to get to cp.
Wow, 3 1/2hr trip?

It's about 8hrs for me and ST is worth every bit of it.

Chuck, who did find his visit in 2002 more enjoyable than 2001 after they added a couple of other attractions but thinks having fun isn't just about coasters.
