Camden Park worker pinned under Slingshot, flown to hospital

A Camden Park employee was flown by helicopter to a local hospital after becoming pinned underneath the Slingshot ride Saturday afternoon. The extent of the man’s injuries was unknown and no other details about the employee were released, citing an ongoing investigation.

The story was updated later. The employee received stitches and was sent home.

The ride is a small powered figure eight spinning coaster.

Ah. See I was trying to figure out how he got pinned under a Slingshot, the ride that launches you up into the air and then posts videos to YouTube of people crying for their mommy or passing out.


But then again, what do I know?

Not cool. I get it, and totally agree, but...not cool.

My family’s from the tri-state area, Camden Park was my home park when I was a kid, and I’m totally incensed!

Also- he’s 100% correct.
