King Cobra was one of the Best Coasters In the world when it deput in 1985, and I don't thank they should just trought it out the door like that. I hope and pray this rumor is very true be cause I live with in 1 hour of Camden park I loved King Cobra.

Escape Fiesta?
I thought they sold King Cobra to a park in Japan for a million dollars.
Just because something was good in 1985 doesn't mean it should be brought back out in 2003. Many examples for this could be used.

As far as I know they are still looking into the Mack terra... err strata coaster, you know, the one that threads the middle of Thunderbolt Express's loop and has the high speed turn by the Burger King.

I fail to see why this is so funny, I think that Camden would benefit greatly from a "new" steel coaster. Rust collector? Maybe. But it probably has less rust than their current steel coaster, which hasn't operated since, what, 2000?

That's what I was refering to when I said rust collector. They didn't keep up Thunderbolt and that's what it became, a rust collector.

King Cobra did not debut in 1985. It was added for the 1984 season.

And no, it is not going to Camden Park.

Camden is not financially able to either purchase or maintain a ride such as that. The asking price is $1,100,000.00 on Ital.com The park cannot even afford to remove Thunderbolt Express. Also, the park currently does not have a plot of land large enough to hold it. Unless you count the parking lot.

I have said since *day one* that Terra Mitica SHOULD get KC....keeping it in the family. IF it were to go to any other park/chain, I would be pretty surprised....and noticeably disappointed with Paramount.....there is NO reason it should be sold outside the chain when there's a PERFECT place for the coaster "in house". I'm amazed the ride even made it to Ital, but what do I know...;)

bill, who had ViperWave going to SFKK the day it closed at SFoG....;)

Moosh, just woke up.....5:30am arrival back here at "The Swamp"....TR should come in the next day or two..;)

What *do* I know....apparently, not as much as DWeaver, but still a heck of a lot more than anyone that lets KC get away....now that CCI is gone, bargains like THIS are hard to find...;)

I don't know but rumors aren't allowed on this site.

Why is that? If so why was Jeff willing to have a rumor section at one time on this site and what did he get rid of it?

Can they afford it?
