Celebration Plaza?

Cedar Point will always be The Roller Coaster Capital of the World, regardless of the number of coasters they have.

It's the tallest, fastest, wooden coaster in northern California. It has to be amazing.

Won't take much to become the 2nd-best wooden coaster in NorCal...Dipper is a true classic and provide amazing fun, and the other two...well, they're not and they don't... ;~)

Celebration plaza might be an indication they will be getting Luminosity as well. That's what Cedar Point renamed the Iron Dragon Midway where the Luminosity stage is.

So are all 2013 Cedar Fair installations going to start with "G"? .....if some park ends up with a ride name GoldFinger, I'm staying off.

I believe that that is what Paramount renamed Carousel Plaza and Hometown Square around 2000 or so.

Mmmm. A James Bond ride. Just what I've been waiting for.

I've heard that Grizzly is both rough AND boring, but somehow still VERY popular!?

I would have thought something named Gold Striker would have at least had a cave, maybe a water feature along the way. What's so Gold-Striking about zooming along around a metal tower and mown lawns?

Shhhhhh... We need to use our imaginations and pretend that it has some kind of a theme. lol

A cheaped-out version of BTMRR could go over really well....not happening, but Krause said to dream...

After Terminator:Salvation at SFMM, I'll be happy as long as there's no pre-show... ;~)

I hear Dorney takes anything.

So does this mean CGA is no longer on the block?

I was wondering that too, Andy. This coaster was supposed to be built a couple of years ago, but was delayed while Cedarfair tried selling off the park for the 49ers parking lot. If they're finally building a new ride, you would think they won't be selling the park anytime soon.

I like the name. A lot. First time I can say that about a Cedar Fair ride in a while.

Hi

Gold Digger may have been my choice.

It's arguably better than 'Golden Shower'...
