California Screamin' - LIM or LSM?

Alright, so I was looking at some pictures of CA Screamin's launch run, and while RCDB lists the ride as LSM launch, the assemblies on the launch run are basically the same as the LIM motors on Impulse coasters.

I did some research, and found that certain sites list the ride as LSM, some as LIM, some as LIM/LSM, and some refuse to say anything but "launched coaster". So which is it?

I'm almost inclined to say LIM here, and blame the mistake on the fact that Disney usually never release much information as to how their rides work.

Anyone have more information?

LIM. It's inductor-to-fin, not magnet-to-magnet.

The ride definitely utilizes a Linear Synchronous Motor system.

Sorry, they're LIMs. They look like LIMs, they sound like LIMs, and they work like LIMs. Kinda like a duck with that quacking and waddling thing.

LSMs don't have fins on the train.

I've always seen it listed as LSM, but Michael makes a good case.

Keep in mind that Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at WDW is LSM and the park lists it as "gravity launch."

I noticed something when I was looking at apicture of S:E SFMM. I was looking at the LSM's in this pic and I noticed a pathway going under it:

Is this pathway a civillian pathway or is it only for poeple with special actses. If anyone can use it when that would be an awsome short cut to get from Goliath to the top of the mountain.
