California Adventure-Televised
My reports came in from SKL coasters inc and they said that the opening of California Adventure will be televised much like the opening of Splash Mountain with Ernest riding it.

I HIGHLY doubt that Ernest P. Warrell will be the first guest through the gates, Jim Varney died. But, I understand what you are saying.
Also, DCA commercials are running on TV here in Southern California, the catchphrase: "Disneyland has a new neighbor."

Yeah, and nobody likes a nosy neighbor. ;) I can't wait to check this park out. I would love it if the opening were televised, since I can't get down to the park until April. Peace. :)

There are running the same advertisment here in Mississippi. The one with Buzz Lightyear in it. You have to give it to them for spreading the word. For a while my parents though that it was Disnet World in Florida cause we never have advertisments from that far away. What's next? Cedar Point and Magic Mountain ads in Mississippi?;)

There are DCA commercials on KMBC 9 out of Kansas City, MO. Hope the park is open in March when I go to Malibu for Spring Break!!!!

Ditto for the Cleveland market. First time I've ever seen TV ads for their California properties that I can remember.

I've seen the DCA commercials here in Michigan too. You are right Jeff, I've always seen lots of commercials for Disney World here, but never for Disneyland until now.
