A billion dollars can go a long way, I look forward to hearing what it will be spent on.

1. Convert the area around CS into a Victorian style boardwalk area
2. Make the Hollywood Studios area to be more like Hollywood Blvd @ MGM
3. Design a brand new Fireworks/Laser/Waterscreen Spectacular for the lagoon by Paradise Pier
4. Build a new hotel
Those seem to be the consistent ones that are flying around the Disney Sites, so take it or leave it.

The Timon lot is the only real land for expansion, but there is still plenty that could happen...

I don't know that much of that is expansion (beyond the Timon lot) so much as bringing what's in the park up to "Disney standard"
Bingo!
Chris M said:The cool thing is that the new resort hotel is not included in the $1 billion dollar budget. All of the money is going towards park improvements which will include many new attractions, shows, and themed elements.
Also correct
I think it's great....this is even more money then they spentto build the park. When you subtractd the cost for the Grand Californian and Downtown Disney the cost for DCA was between 700-800 million.
From what I remember when I was there, is that there is no room for expansion. We stayed at the paradise pear hotel, and from the looks of it the park is more less land locked. But they could also build another parking garage and expand into the parking lot.
What about all the talks of adding a 3'rd gate in that area?
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I believe that the midway mania attraction IS included in the billion $$$.
I don't believe so. The Midway Mania ride and the lagoon show were both approved a while back. I'm pretty sure the actual dollar amount is $1.2 billion to be spread over 10 years to add new attractions as well as improving the look of the park. Go to Google Earth and you'll see that there is some room for expansion- the Timon lot is roughly as large as Paradise Pier.
