California 2004 help

I'm going to California in June and wanted to know if the following rides will be open (can't find any dates)
  • Mummy - Universal Hollywood
  • Journey to Atlantis - Sea World
  • Tower of Terror - California Adventure

Plus does anyone have an idea (perhaps based on last year) how much Six Flags Seasons passes will be at SFMM and SFMW about that time. I can't buy online now because I'm from the UK, and you need to live within 300 miles. Plus the rpices always go up throughout the year.

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps.

Marine World season passes should be about $55 in June at Marine World. They stay a good deal all year just about. I thinnk it's the same or more at Magic Mountain. Mummy will probably be open, Tower of Terror will be open, but I'm not sure about JtA. You'll have a fun trip. :)
Okay well this is what I know.

Journey to Atlantis does not have an official opening date but their site does say Spring 2004 so since you are going in June I'm sure it will be open.

The Mummy I know for sure is set to open in June but the exact date I am unsure of. the 18th or the 19th sounds right to me but I'm not sure. So that is still up in the air.

Tower of has a slated opening date of May 4 but of coarse that could change but I'm sure it will be open by June.

That is what I know. I hope I helped.

THE SCARIEST PART OF THE RIDE IS THE LIFT HILL!
I'm not sure exactly when the rides open, but I do know this: you might want to wait until July. We have this thing here in Southern California called "June Gloom." For roughly two straight weeks in June (last year it lasted nearly a month), it is overcast all day long.

I'm not sure where you're traveling from, but most visitors look forward to the "warm California sun." I would hate to see you make the trip just to see grey skies!

JTA is set for a Memorial Day opening as it says in the news article on it.
As always, I wouldn't plan your trip around any specific opening dates, especially when it comes to rides with complicated technical show elements like these will all have. Hopefully they will all have soft openings so most of the bugs can be worked out before the official openings. So don't be disappointed if one or more of these isn't ready yet when you visit, despite the planned opening dates. Consider it a bonus if you actually do get to ride in June.

Another warning, if these rides do open just prior to your visit, along with all the end of year school outings at the parks, just expect crowds and long lines.

Sorry for sounding so negative, just want you to be prepared. Just expect the above, and if I'm wrong (hope so since you're coming from so far away!), you'll be happily surprised! Regardless, with all the great rides we have, I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time nonetheless. *** Edited 1/21/2004 2:59:11 AM UTC by jomo***
