Cajun Cliffhanger

Did SFGAm remove the Cajun Cliffhanger (Rotor)
NO, but they have closed it to the public.
Status: SBNO
I don't know if they will ever run the ride again, but I would like them to.

Correct, it is still there. But.... It will never operate again, they also took the sign down. I wonder why they don't remove it?
people always got hurt on that one.

What do you mean by always?
Yeah, while the ride was operating, I didn't hear of one person getting hurt on it. I loved the ride.

some stupid kids always got thier toes caught in it, that is why is was closed a while ago.

Well, these stupid kids must have been showing up in the past 2 years. The '99 season is the first time I went there and it was closed all the time. It's a safe ride like any other, until people screw around.

I hate noise in these message boards.
It is removed, but the building is not.

"It is more expensive to remove the building" is what I heard.

When will......V2.......open.....*dies* (Vertical Velocity opens next day)
when i rode it a couple years back, there was a dumb kid that would not cooperate with the rule "keep your feet on the ground, your back against the wall, etc.". it was kind of funny though... the ride operator - just like anyone else would have - got pretty ticked off and stopped the ride completely, then re-informed the kid of the rules again (in a VERY irritated voice) and finaly restarted the ride. so, yeah, i think those accidents where probably caused by rider misconduct, causing it to close. people are dumb.
Thanks for the info.

I am visiting the park for the 1st time in July, and I was looking forward to riding it, since my beloved Geauga Lake/Six Flags Ohio/Six Flags Worlds of Adventure removed ours. Oh well.
yeah, i guess that whole ride type is "dangerous" :)
