CAC planning - headcount? plans? Friday night?

If this particular thread violates any particular portion of the Terms, please accept my apologies.

I won't be attending CAC this year, but because of my proximity to many of the events after the event, namely SFEV on Sunday, and PNE on Monday, I was curious (plus my wife wants to know) how many of you will be showing up in Seattle prior to the event? Will you be flying into Seattle (Peabody) or flying into Spokane (Gator)? I would like a headcount, as I was intending on doing a dinner here (Soba anyone?) and wondered which day is best. That, and Ethyl is playing that Friday night (The 22nd), and well..... I'd sure like to see a lot of you out, especially since I pulled teeth to get this show in place for "all the people that are coming out." ;) So, let a drummer know.

Tomoko and I are moving that weekend, so timing of everything is sort of crucial. We'd love to entertain you in our new house, or heck...... our old house. Just let us know. Joe gets his August 3rd! ;)

Jimvid, Flare, and the Moosh arrive in Spokane on Thurs 8/21. We have a flight Sunday morning to Seattle for SFEV and Fun Forest. No dinner plans yet on Sunday night. Had considered atop the Space Needle but we're willing to take a local's recommendation. After dinner we'll drive north and find a hotel along the way. Monday is Vancouver, then drive back to Seattle.

We're pretty much going along with Moosh's group, 'cept we're flying into Spokane the following night. As for Sunday and Monday in Seattle/Vancouver...we're still pretty flexible....for now....;)

Seriously, this isn't a thread about my band, however, I want to know who is gonna be here in Seattle on Friday night? Everyone said that was the plan, and now it's all changing. So please email me, and/or tell the others from other sites to let me know as well.

In regards to stuff at the home of Drumgod, let me know when you will be coming back to Seattle, in the morning/night, Sunday morning, etc... We were thinking of having a "dinner" so to speak, and I figured if everyone can kind of chip in, we could do something really special... or at least try.

Thanks. I guess I worded it wrong, though. I wasn't saying that you all misled me or something. I guess I just assumed (wrongly of course) that everyone would fly into Seattle and drive over given that it would be one big circle that way. I didn't take into account that many would rather just spend an extra day in Spokane, hanging out in the wheat fields. Oh joy! ;)

Moosh, what I'd really like to ask you is if you could throw an email to everyone you know that is going and let them know to contact me. Perhaps we could have a Sunday dinner as a nice big group somewhere in the Snoqualmie valley or in Seattle that evening.... or at my house? If the group isn't too large, that is..
