Cables like Xcelerators on freeway

On my way to Six Flags on the freeway there was a truck, and what looked EXACTALLY like that whole thing that holds the cables for Xcelerator, includding the cables was in a truck (bigger truck of course) .What shocked me was there where FOUR of them, and this was only about 20 mins from six flags (going towards Six Flags), and it was heading that direction. Could either SFMM, PGA, or SFMW be up for a launch coaster?

*sigh* It could have been anything. You can't tell regular cables to hold up scaffolding and stairways than launch cables. They're just cables. How are they different than any other cable?

Call me crazy but I would think that if a park was getting a launch coaster that cables wouldn't be the first thing you would notice and they wouldn't arrive at the park before the footers were even poured....

But hey what do I know. ;)

Lol, I think you have a good point. Every park in CA has announced their rides for this year, and all are in the process of building them. No surprises there...

Like haux said, there are lots of things that use cable similar to coaster's cable.
