Cable Lift

This is probably close to the stupidest question, but here it goes. How do you get the cable lift to work. I start my track going uphill and so the option appears. I click on it and it slopes down towards the ground.

After being cancelled more times than I can count with one finger, the main event of my summer o-three:
5 people vs. 15 parks & 103 costers and counting

Do you put the chain on you have to go up so far first go up and do not put the chain on after like 50 feet look for it
Well it is supposed to, just like a real cable lift. On a real cable lift, the farthest that pulley cart can go has to be past the top so gravity can take over. Same thing applies here it has to start sloping downward so that the trai can make it over.

Things a bear-y fine, ridin' on the old Knott's bear-y line!

No chain is required with the cable lift.

If you ever wonder whether something will work then just try it. One of my favorite things about the game is trying new things.

Just make the lift hill out of a steep slope, then at the top select cable lift hill. When you test the coaster you will see the sled come down the lift hill and hook on the the train, just like Millenium Force.

Or closer to answering your actual question - wait until the lift is as high as needed then add the "topper" piece for the cable lift.
